East Campus Supporters
Since joining Black Hawk College, it has been a pleasure getting to know many of you, and I look forward to meeting many more. It’s clear that the college’s employees, students, faculty, alumni, and communities share a deep passion for our collective success. I am excited to explore new ways to collaborate and turn that passion into tangible achievements, guiding our college, students, faculty and staff towards a bright and prosperous future.
I grew up in a small community and I learned the importance of the extended family. I was taught to work hard, help my neighbor, and treat people with respect. Going forward, the college will become more and more immersed in our communities through direct partnerships, attendance at events, and by finding ways to bring you and your neighbors to campus. It is through this community-based approach that we will not only help Black Hawk College grow, but we will enrich our communities as well.
The East Campus has a long and rich history, and our commitment to its success is alive and well today. I have office hours on campus every week, attend many of the campus events, and it is not unusual for my family and I to show up at community events. If you have not already done so, please come say “hi.”
