The Black Hawk College East Foundation enhances East Campus by broadening educational opportunities, supporting student achievement, and investing in programs, facilities, and experiences that prepare students for success. Through scholarships, academic resources, and strategic investments, donor contributions create significant impact for students, the campus, and surrounding communities.
Student experiences extend beyond the classroom with opportunities in agriculture, equine studies, competitive teams, career preparation, and hands-on learning. These programs help students build practical skills, gain experience, and prepare for further education and successful careers.
On-campus housing owned by the Black Hawk College East Foundation, offers a convenient and supportive environment that helps students focus on their academic and professional goals.
Approximately 65 acres of land adjacent to East Campus support learning, including 50 acres designated as a living agronomy laboratory where students conduct soil testing, manage crops, and present research. This experiential learning connects classroom instruction with practical agricultural applications.
Donors, alumni and community partners enable these opportunities, creating a lasting impact for students and strengthening East Campus and the communities and industries served by its graduates.
