BHC Ag alumni raise $30,000 at Aggie Weekend
The Black Hawk College Agri-Business Club Alumni (ABCA) hosted the 2025 Aggie Weekend at Midland Golf Course in Kewanee. The weekend’s festivities raised more than $30,000 that will support grants for programming and scholarships for students at Black Hawk College East Campus.
The ABCA honored the anniversary classes of 2020, 2010, 2000, 1990, 1980 and 1970; presented the Outstanding Ag Alumni and Friends of the Alumni awards; and awarded scholarships to nine students.
For the 2025-26 school year, ABCA awarded $11,000 in scholarships to support BHC students as they pursue their education and future careers in agriculture and related fields.

These awards recognize students pursuing careers in agriculture, skilled trades, veterinary technology, and related fields.
